It all started in 2007 with the tapping of a pencil on the backside of a school desk that sparked their first interaction. Kaylee had one question for Brandon: “Hi—can you stop?” They both laughed and their easy banter was born.

They spent every 20-minute break standing in the sun together until the school year was over. They’d share new music, slang words like “shawty”, and more laughs.
Life isn’t linear and it ended up putting them in different locations after that year, but thanks to the technology of social media, they always kept in touch, and finally reconnected in person in 2022.

Their shared passions for live music, wine tasting and spending time with family quickly made them realize they wanted to be a part of each other’s lives forever.
